CS103 - Assessment 2, Week 1

In this article, I will outline the initial steps we have taken to plan this project out, and how we got started in building it.

Ann, Keshia and I (Matthew) have worked in a team together on a project before, and we found that we have a great dynamic as a team and are excellent at collaborating on ideas and sharing tasks. We started by agreeing on a project, and we chose the lunch ordering system. We chose this one to build as we all already had some great ideas we could implement and were excited to get started on it.

We first built out the program's main menu, which would serve as a template/structure. From here it was easy to agree on which tasks would best suit each of us to develop.

Once we had an idea of which tasks we would be doing, we then created a project on Trello so we could track the status of these tasks, as well as design, assign and track new ones. We also created a GitHub repository, so we could all easily access and edit the program efficiently. Lastly, we created a blog on Blogger, so we can write articles along the way about our progress, and challenges and document the process of managing this project.

We are continuing to make excellent progress on this assessment, and everyone is contributing ideas and initiatives to make this an exciting project to be a part of!
